Interview popular doc
an interview with the popular doc nerdcore movement. one from a while ago, but still a good interview to explain the phenomenon. watch the video especially for his amazing yo-yo moves.
otagei
geeks with a fascination for anime singers have a new dance: otagei (combination of otaku and geinou). quite bizarre movements of the artist to give more energy on stage. that makes the audience part of the event.

Power sliding
Levi's has some people in Portland who discovered and brought to power sliding together April 15 for a power sliding event at the Santa Monica Pier.
Power skating is sliding without gear. why use a skateboard when you have a Levi's. useful in times of crisis ![]()

put a donk on it
Eminem clones that are reminiscent of the nineties, happy hardcore scene ... yep, this is the donk culture. vbs has a really great dark-umentary series on Burnley's dark subculture made.
dark is low budget rave to 150 bpm with bouncy beats, cartoon samples, Synt old and a 'dark' sound on the beats. The most interesting subcultures have arisen in times of crisis (hip hop, punk, teddy boys, ...). Today it's just waiting for an underground subculture of the working class ... maybe darker.
on the site of service for more information on " put a donk on It "

Shoko Tendo
just the book " yakuza daughter "by Shoko Tendo out. Shoko talks about her teenage daughter of a yakuza (Yamaguchi-gumi). a dark side of Japan, which is far away from the cute kawaii art: street gangs, drugs, violence, rape, ...
The writer talks about her tattoo, which looks pretty impressive. the 'Jigoku Dayu' tattoo on her back means a new start for her and a radical break with its past.

crips and bloods
My childhood hero Stacy Peralta has another documentary: crips and bloods: made in america . the story of two best-known Afro-American gangs. a portrait of modern-day life course ": turf wars, territorial ism, inter-process hierarchy and family structure, conduct, respect, gun culture and death. In the about page of the site we read that ends with the gang members who dreams of a better life ... beautiful.
