bodybuilders from gent
late last year I stayed one night between the bodybuilders of the First Class Gym in Zwijnaardsesteenweg gent. I can make nice pictures, but all hope of a sturdy body specified ![]()
those guys train every day hours (except Wednesday for those interested). they laugh with vain spouts that are only in the spring to work hard on their bodies until they nearly drop. bodybuilders believe it and work a whole year to their muscular body. According to them, no illegal stuff ... I hope for them.
also one of the bodybuilders is Aboo howa - Le Nouveau Massis. check the filmke of cirq.
screenkid
we know today some big internet names twitterers, bloggers, web designers, futurologists, ... but everyone has learned. technologies and software are changing rapidly, but will keep you fixed to the current generation minus seven year olds begin to experiment with the possibilities of the Internet. the big difference is that they play with it and we have learned.
Check below pictures of my son milo with my iphone. look how beautiful he laughs ...
Rip the Ripper

My first skateboard ... a Perelta with Powell and of course the "Ripper" logo. an icon of the eighties and nineties skating (yes, I am thirty ;). Meanwhile, the skaters use for over thirty years as a logo and copy unfortunately also for many false wannebe skate t-shirts. Rip the ripper "is pretty ripped
the ripper rip sticks his middle finger out. a selection of fifty artists were asked to rip the official logo. after the opening show in San Diego we can use lulu to the book, and then sell them on ebay works. check the skateone website for more info.
graffiti bombing
PMS graffiti crew has blown up the underground of Stockholm. pretty impressive.
Chinese skaters
On China Youth Watch by China Youthology青年志 a fun read about the chinese post skate culture. skating is apparently not as popular in China, only a thousand young people skating. the small underground scene speaks to the imagination of many Chinese people. skaters have obtained a certain coolness and brands jump on it. brands such as vans enNike SB who link it to the skate culture are popular with young people.
the chinese will probably skate scene grow in the future.

japan lolita
a short report about japan lolita and the different profiles: victorian, gothic, cosplayers ...
"Lolita is a Japanese subculture, very young and innocent ... it's the opposite of emo"
the store which is being linked to is lovelacelolita
new beat
a nice report on the Belgian New Beat. New Beat is very popular in the eighties, but is also ignored or looked down upon by mainstream media. note especially the young Hautekiet - who even makes a serious blunder - and the back of Sven Van Hees.
